POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE

We are looking for a talented, energetic, highly motivated person to work on developing novel statistical algorithms and tools for analyzing high dimensional datasets generated by the Cancer Genome Atlas project. (S)he will have the opportunity to collaborate with cutting-edge oncology research groups at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutes and with statisticians at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

ROTATION / THESIS PROJECTS

We have a number of available projects available for Johns Hopkins students interested in computational analysis of the relationship between genetic variation and disease.

Preferred qualifications: (at least two of the following)
1. Class in bioinformatics
2. Class in statistics or machine learning
3. Strong programming skills
4. Class in genetics or protein biochemistry
